Airport Jobs in Saudi Arabia
Saudi airports are growing fast. New terminals in Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities, plus rising Hajj and Umrah traffic, mean ground handling companies need more trained staff. Ground support equipment (GSE) operators and pushback drivers are key to keeping flights on time.
This recruitment is handled by M/s Your Placement Agency. The trade test will take place at Green Line Technical Training Centre in Rawalpindi.
Positions and Salary
- Ground Support Equipment Operator – 2,700 SAR
- Pushback Driver (aircraft pushback vehicle) – 2,700 SAR
2,700 SAR is about PKR 200,000 per month. Airport service companies usually provide accommodation, transport and medical insurance. Overtime may also be available during peak seasons.
What the Job Involves
GSE operators drive and operate equipment such as baggage tractors, belt loaders, cargo loaders and ground power units. Pushback drivers use a special tug to push aircraft back from the gate and tow them on the apron. Both jobs need careful driving, good awareness and strict safety habits.
Eligibility
- Age between 21 and 45 years
- Experience in airport ground handling or heavy vehicle driving
- A valid driving licence; a Gulf licence is an advantage
- Valid passport
The advertisement notes that duty time is 8 hours and the contract period is two years.
Trade Test Dates and Venue
Trade tests will be held on 30 and 31 October and 1 November 2026. The venue is Green Line Technical Training Centre, D-1, 6th Road, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi. Selection will be made in the presence of the company delegation.
Safety and Training at Saudi Airports
Airport aprons are busy and risky places. New staff normally go through company induction, apron safety training and airside driving permits before they start. Pushback drivers also learn radio communication with the cockpit and ground crew.
Experience in airport ground handling, from Pakistan or any Gulf country, is a strong plus. Heavy vehicle drivers who are calm, careful and good at reversing also do well in the test.
Documents to Bring
- Original passport and CNIC
- Valid driving licence (Pakistani or Gulf)
- Airport or ground handling experience letters
- Passport-size photographs
