About Khyber Medical College Peshawar
Khyber Medical College is one of the oldest medical colleges in Pakistan. Today, it works as a Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) under the KP Medical and Teaching Institution Reform Act, 2015. The college trains doctors and also runs many academic and support departments in Peshawar.
KMC offers all new posts on a 3-year contract. However, the college can extend the contract if your performance is good.

Eligibility for Khyber Medical College Jobs
For Manager HR, you need an MBA (HRM, 16 years of education), an MSc HRM or an equal HEC-recognised degree. You also need 7 years of HR experience after your degree. Out of these, at least 2 years must be at a managerial level. Moreover, KMC prefers people with HR experience in teaching hospitals.
For the Projectionist post, you need matric (SSC) and 2 years of related experience. Similarly, the Electrician post needs matric with at least 2nd division, a 1-year vocational certificate and 2 years of practical work.
For the Painter post, you need matric with at least 2nd division and 3 years of painting experience. Meanwhile, the Assistant Electrician post needs matric plus a DAE in Electrical or Electronics, with 1 year of experience.
Finally, the Library Attendant post needs matric and a Peshawar domicile. The age limit for this post is 22 to 35 years. Also, electrician, painter and library attendant candidates will take a practical or physical test.
Application Fee
Every post has a non-refundable processing fee. You can pay it at the National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus Branch, Peshawar, in favour of Principal KMC Peshawar.
- Manager HR: Rs. 2,000
- All other posts: Rs. 500 each
How to Apply for Khyber Medical College Jobs
The process has two parts, so follow these steps carefully.
- First, apply online at career.kmc.edu.pk with your CV, CNIC, degrees and experience certificates.
- Next, print the application slip and attach copies of all documents.
- Then, send the hard copy by registered courier to the HR and Establishment Department, KMC Peshawar.
- Also, write the post name on the top corner of the envelope.
- Finally, if you want more than one post, apply separately with a separate fee.
Last Date to Apply
Your application must reach KMC within 15 days of the advert date. Therefore, the last date is around 15 November 2026. If the last day falls on a holiday, the next working day will count.
Important Points
- KMC will call only shortlisted candidates for the test or interview.
- Government employees must apply through proper channel with an NOC.
- KMC will not accept degree-in-progress certificates.
- KMC will not pay any TA/DA for the test or interview.
