The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission has announced KPPSC DSP Jobs 2026 under Advertisement No. 09/2026. There are four leftover posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in BPS-17. These posts fall under the fast track promotion quota, so only serving police inspectors can apply.
KPPSC DSP Jobs 2026 Post Details
All four posts carry the BPS-17 pay scale. Both male and female officers can apply, and selection will be on merit. Moreover, candidates must be Pakistani citizens with a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile, including the merged districts.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants need at least a 2nd class Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. In addition, they must be confirmed in the rank of Inspector after completing probation.
They must not have received any major penalty in the last three years. Also, they must have passed a two-week basic course from any four Police Specialized Schools as a junior officer.
Bonus Marks
KPPSC gives 10 extra marks to holders of the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal or Pakistan Police Medal. Similarly, candidates who completed the six-month Basic Elite Training Course get 5 extra marks.
How to Apply Online
Apply online at www.kppsc.gov.pk. KPPSC does not accept applications in any other form. Fill in every column carefully and preview your form before you submit it.
Pay the Rs. 500 application fee through the 1Bill option. You can use banking apps like NBP, HBL, ABL, BOK and BoP, or wallets like Easypaisa, JazzCash and Upaisa. You don’t need to upload documents now. However, the departmental permission certificate must reach KPPSC within 30 days of the closing date.
Important Dates
According to the ad, the last date to apply was 28 September 2026 at 5:00 PM. Therefore, check the KPPSC website for any extension or new notice. KPPSC counts age as on 1 January 2026.
