The Directorate General of Agriculture Extension Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced Agriculture Extension KP Jobs 2026 for Field Assistant (BPS-09) posts. A total of 35 seats are open under the 5% Minorities Quota. Candidates holding a Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or Merged Areas domicile can apply online through ETEA until 30 October 2026.
Field Assistant Posts and Age Limit
In total, the department needs 35 Field Assistants in BPS-09. Also, applicants must be between 19 and 32 years of age. In addition, existing government rules allow age relaxation. However, if the department finds no suitable minority candidates, it may fill the seats from the open merit list.
Required Qualification
Candidates need at least a second division Matric (SSC) with science from a recognised board. In addition, they must hold a three-year Diploma of Agriculture Sciences (DAS) from a recognised institute. Alternatively, the department accepts a two-year training certificate from the Agriculture Services Academy, along with a six-month condensed course certificate arranged by the department.
Moreover, the department will prefer candidates with government or semi-government experience. Meanwhile, serving government employees should apply through proper channel. Similarly, foreign degree holders must provide an HEC equivalence certificate.
How to Apply for Agriculture Extension KP Jobs 2026
First, create your profile on the official ETEA website. Print the E-Sahulat token and get your CNIC verified at any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise. Without this verification, you cannot apply for any post.
Next, fill in the online application form. The system will generate a deposit slip with your token number and project code. Then, pay the non-refundable test fee through the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent or any UBL branch. After that, keep the stamped candidate copy safe and do not share it with anyone.
However, do not post any documents to the ETEA office. Instead, only candidates who clear the screening test will need to provide copies.
Important Dates
The online form is available from 15 October 2026. However, the last date to submit the application is 30 October 2026. Therefore, ETEA will reject late or incomplete applications.
Selection Process for Agriculture Extension KP Jobs
First, candidates will appear in the ETEA screening test. ETEA will send an SMS to download the roll number slip, which shows the test date, time and venue. Use your own non-ported mobile number. Also, ETEA will not post any separate call letter.
After that, the Selection Committee will check qualified candidates and send interview letters to shortlisted candidates only. Finally, note that the department does not pay TA/DA for the test or interview.
