- Assistant Professor (Computer Science): Rs. 202,000 approx. per month (KEPS-09)
- Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering / Software Engineering): Rs. 202,000 approx. per month (KEPS-09)
- Lecturer (Computer Science): Rs. 140,000 approx. per month (KEPS-08)
In addition to the salary, staff will get transport, medical facility and other benefits as per KICSIT policy.
Qualification for Assistant Professor
For Computer Science, candidates need a PhD in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering. Similarly, the second post needs a PhD in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering. Also, candidates need a degree from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university. Moreover, the Computer Engineering post needs a Comp Category PEC registration.
Qualification for Lecturer
Lecturer candidates need a Master’s degree (MS/MPhil) in First Division in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution. Besides this, candidates can have only one second division in their whole academic career.
Important Instructions
First of all, O/A Level candidates must attach an IBCC equivalence certificate. Government employees should apply through proper channel and bring an NOC at the interview. However, these posts are contractual and not permanent government jobs, although they may continue for an indefinite period.
