GEPCO will hire on a 3-year contract with a lump-sum pay package. However, it may extend the contract on good performance.
Eligibility Criteria for GEPCO Jobs
- Four-year Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Age 21–33 years (includes 5 years’ general relaxation).
- Government, WAPDA and DISCO employees with 2 years’ service can apply up to 43 years.
- Candidates from all over Pakistan can apply.
In addition, GEPCO gives extra weight to computer skills such as MS Office, Excel and internet use. Also, candidates with CGPA transcripts must get marks in percentage from their university before applying.

- Pay the test fee of Rs. 270 through 1Link, 1Bill banks, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or TCS.

Note that the full fee is Rs. 540, but GEPCO pays the other half. Moreover, disabled candidates pay no fee at all. GEPCO and NTS do not accept applications by hand.
