The Chief Internal Auditor will report to the Audit Committee / BoD. In addition, the role covers planning and directing the internal audit function. It also includes reviewing processes to improve risk management, control and governance.
Qualification
- Member of a recognized professional accountancy body, or
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or
- Certified Internal Control Auditor, or
- Master’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university
Experience
Candidates need at least 5 years of post-qualification audit experience. Also, this must include 3 years in a senior management position. Furthermore, three years in a similar role at a reputable national, international or public sector company is highly desirable.
