Karachi Shipyard Jobs 2026 Vacancies
KSEW is hiring for the following posts:
- DGM (Paint Shop) – 1 post, age up to 55 years
- Manager (Contract Management) – 1 post, age up to 55 years
- DM (Engineering Design) – 1 post, age up to 45 years
- Supervisor (Ship Planning) – 2 posts, age up to 45 years
DGM Paint Shop Requirements
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. In addition, they need 15 to 20 years of experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, heavy engineering, fabrication or painting. Strong leadership and planning skills are also required.
Manager Contract Management Requirements
This post needs a BE, B.Tech or DAE in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive or Mechatronics. BE holders need 8 years of experience, B.Tech holders 10 years, and DAE holders 15 to 20 years.
The experience should cover PPRA rules, bidding documents and contract administration. Moreover, an MBA or BBA in Supply Chain, or CIPS or PMP training, will be a plus.
DM Engineering Design Requirements
Candidates need a BE, B.Tech or DAE in a related field. BE holders need 5 years of experience, while B.Tech or DAE holders need 8 to 10 years. The work involves design of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers and heavy steel structures.
Also, knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER and ANSYS will be preferred.
Supervisor Ship Planning Requirements
This post needs a B.Tech or DAE in Mechanical or Electrical. Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of supervisory experience in a shipyard or marine setting. Furthermore, project management skills and good MS Office knowledge will help.
