Educational Qualification
Candidates need a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or Information Security. Alternatively, Electrical or Electronics Engineering graduates with relevant IS certifications can apply. Besides, the degree must be from an HEC-recognized university and attested by HEC.
Experience Required
Candidates need at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in Information Security, IT, Database Administration or Network Device Administration. Moreover, NADRA will prefer candidates with these certifications:
- A certification or badge in any IBM Security product
- CySA+, Data+ or an equivalent security certificate
NADRA Assistant Director Duties and Skills
- Install, configure and set up IBM Guardium appliances and agents
- Patch Guardium appliances and renew licenses on time
- Monitor database incidents, activity and privileged users
- Perform data discovery and classification with stakeholders
- Analyze database risks through log analytics
- Ensure backup, disaster recovery and data protection
- Apply cyber security controls on on-premises and cloud databases
- Use scripting and automation for processes and reports
In addition, NADRA wants strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Terms and Conditions
At first, selected candidates will complete a six-month probation period. After that, only shortlisted candidates will get a call for the test or interview. Also, government employees must submit an NOC with their application.
